Job Purpose (Significance of the Role & Objectives)
We are looking for a passionate and goal-driven Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer who can develop vehicle dynamics models and use them to simulate system-level vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
• Develop analytical and data-driven vehicle system models in time and frequency domains.
• Develop system and subsystem level simulations, and analyze longitudinal, lateral, and vertical dynamics characteristics.
• Develop low and high-fidelity vehicle models for simulation of energy consumption and range.
• Correlate vehicle models at scale using test data and identify key realism gaps.
• Develop tools to analyze, correlate and support vehicle dynamics testing.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses and trade studies to understand vehicle-level performance trade-offs.
• Perform optimization to formulate and analyze design objectives and goals.
• Analyzing and interpreting data from tests and simulations to identify opportunities for improvement in vehicle dynamics design.
• Participating in design reviews and providing technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience:
• B.Tech/M.Tech in any engineering discipline.
• 02 - 04 years of experience in modelling and simulation of dynamic systems in the automotive domain.
• knowledge of Tyre and Vehicle Dynamics.
• Strong fundamentals in Mathematical Modeling, System Dynamics, Ordinary Differential Equations, Numerical Methods, and Optimization Techniques.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/IPG CarMaker, CarSim/VI-grade/ MotionView/MotionSolve, or any other vehicle dynamics simulation tool.
