Job Purpose (Significance of the Role & Objectives)

We are looking for seasoned professionals in CAE with a strong focus on Strength Analysis using CAE tools like Hypermesh, Abaqus, LS Dyna (Implicit), HyperView, Hypergraph, Python, and TCL/TK. In this role, you will plan and execute vehicle-level activities as per plans developed in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external vendors/suppliers.


Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Able to build & perform component/subsystem/vehicle level strength analysis
  • Able to perform Fatigue analysis with Static & Dynamic Loading conditions
  • Able to evaluate weld strength and durability of automotive structures (like BIW and closures) and test correlations.
  • Able to perform durability analysis on BIW, Closures, Vehicle Dynamics parts, Hood & Tailgate
  • Able to perform Shock, Sine Sweep, and PSD Vibrational Durability of battery structures
  • Product knowledge with an understanding of functioning and application is desirable
  • Hands-on experience in contacts and resolving convergence issues in Opti struct & Abaqus
  • Able to understand and apply new methods regarding calculation models, algorithms, and simulation
  • Able to interpret analysis results, find out the root causes & provide design recommendations
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good Individual contributor and mentor to Junior colleagues


Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum 08 - 12 years of experience in Full vehicle-level structural strength& rigidity simulations
  • BTech /MTech (desirable, but not mandatory) in Mechanical/Automotive or any other relevant Engineering
  • Very good hands-on experience using CAE Tools like Hypermesh, ANSA, Abaqus, LS Dyna (Implicit), Meta Post, HyperView, Hypergraph, Python, TCL/TK
  • Experience in leading, mentoring & developing fellow Team members
  • Able to develop new methods of working for reducing the CAE lead time
